Principal
Simon Ling - simon@simonling.co.uk
Simon has the benefit of nearly thirty years experience as a professional accountant. He studied at Cambridge and trained with a firm which is now one of the largest in the world. In his final exams he achieved the top prize in his year. He joined the firm in 1982 and has had the pleasure of seeing it grow to its present size with 350 clients. Simon is friendly, approachable and highly competent in all areas of taxation and accountancy ranging from complicated group structures to the sole trader.

Consultant
David Price - david@simonling.co.uk
Joined the firm in January 1993 bringing with him many years of experience both in accountancy firms and on the other side of the fence in industry. David is friendly and capable person who goes out of his way to put clients at their ease and understand their needs so that he can match the services provided by the firm to their individual requirements. He retired as a partner at the end of 2003 and now acts as a consultant


Tax Manager
Trevor Rowlan - trevor@simonling.co.uk
Trevor has been with the firm since 1993 and was previously a manager with Barclays Bank. He deals with the personal tax returns for almost all our clients and also with company secretarial services. He is thorough and precise and will make sure you pay the right tax (and not a penny more!) at the right time if at all possible.


Accounts, Audit and Payroll

Hannah Collis - hannah@simonling.co.uk
Cass and Hannah are both qualified accountants. Cass qualified in February 2002 and joined us in early 2003, having worked in similar roles in other larger firms. Hannah qualified in August 2003 having been with the National Audit Office, and joined us at the beginning of 2004. Between them they deal with the accounts preparation and audit work for almost all our clients, and also handle company tax returns. They will normally be your first point of contact when sending in your accounting records or arranging for us to visit.


Bookkeeping
Chrissie Goodwin - chrissie@simonling.co.uk
Chrissie provides our full bookkeeping service to those clients who take advantage of it, and is well known to those that do. She has been with us since 1990 and is highly experienced in this field.

Payroll and administration
Sue Hall - sue@simonling.co.uk

Our newest recruit, Sue joined us in April 2004 to be our office manager and also to take over the provision of payroll duties for those clients who use that service - she has a hard act to follow as Jenny (her predecessor) had been with us for nearly 40 years, but is getting up to speed well.

Administration
Beverley - beverley@simonling.co.uk
Beverley joined us in January 2004 and looks after all the administrative aspects of office life, typing letters and greeting visitors amongst other things. She also looks after Simon's diary so contact her if you wish to arrange a visit
